I Only Listen to 90s Music talks to one of the best DJs to come out of St. Louis the infamous DJ Kut. They talk to DJ Kut about how he got into being a DJ, spinning music during the beginnings of hip hop in St. Louis (before Nelly blew up), how a touring with Cedric “The Entertainer” changed his life, how a great DJ can change the tempo of any occasion for the good or bad, and his time working at Power 105 in New York was a culmination of everything he learned being in St. Louis about music.
He also joins the team to discuss black and white album covers, the reality show featuring former 90s R&B singers, and they revisit the Soul Train Awards of 1989.
